WHO WE ARE
The Fatima Ibrahim Yakubu Fertility Foundation is the philanthropic arm of EMB Chronicles, created to extend our mission of fertility awareness and support beyond individual consultations and online communities. Founded to address the gaps in fertility education, emotional support, and access to information, the Foundation works to ensure that no one navigating infertility feels alone or uninformed.
Our team brings together experts, advocates, and educators who share a commitment to breaking stigma, providing guidance, and building stronger, informed communities. Through our work, we aim to transform how infertility is understood and discussed, making reproductive health knowledge accessible to everyone, regardless of background or resources.

OUR MISSION
We exist to empower individuals and couples through knowledge, awareness, and support, helping them navigate fertility challenges with confidence. By combining education, advocacy, and community initiatives, we challenge misinformation, cultural silence, and stigma surrounding infertility. Our work ensures that fertility is not just a medical conversation, but a human one—one that honors emotions, experiences, and choices.
WHAT WE DO
The Foundation focuses on practical actions that create meaningful impact.
- Awareness Campaigns: We lead initiatives that demystify infertility and ART, encouraging open, honest conversations in communities where silence and stigma often dominate.
- Educational Programs: From workshops to webinars, we provide clear, science-backed guidance on fertility, reproductive health, and treatment options for both individuals and community groups.
- Community Support Initiatives: We connect people to resources, peer networks, and mentorship opportunities, ensuring that emotional and practical support is available to those who need it most.
- Advocacy & Partnerships: By collaborating with fertility experts, clinics, and NGOs, we promote equitable access to knowledge, empower underserved communities, and amplify voices that are often unheard.

Our Impact
Real Stories, Real Support
The Inaugural FIYFF Awareness & Support Event (June 2025)
In June 2025, we hosted our first physical gathering—a warm, intimate event designed to break the silence surrounding infertility. We welcomed over 50 guests, both men and women, into a safe space where science met heart.
The day was more than just an event; it was a sanctuary for couples to gain expert knowledge and find a community that truly understands their struggle.
Expert Insights Shared:
Holistic Health: A specialized Neurologist discussed the impact of non-toxic living and how environmental factors play a role in reproductive health.
Clinical Guidance: A leading Gynecologist broke down the primary causes of infertility and the medical paths forward.
The Lab Perspective: Our founder and Embryologist, Yusuf Zubaida Muhammad, demystified the various fertility treatments available today.
Emotional Strength: A TTC Advocate shared her personal journey, offering a raw and honest look at the emotional hurdles of the wait.
A Mother’s Legacy: In a deeply moving session, Fatima Ibrahim Yakubu (the inspiration behind our foundation) shared her own fertility journey and the coping mechanisms that helped her persevere.
Tangible Support Provided:
We believe support should be practical. During this event, we were proud to facilitate:
Financial Relief: Exclusive discounts on IVF treatments provided by our partner fertility clinics.
Direct Access: Free personalized consultations for couples seeking immediate guidance on their next steps.
The Future of FIYFF
Our journey is just beginning. As we look toward the coming years, FIYFF is committed to expanding our reach across three core pillars:
Mass Awareness: Launching larger-scale campaigns to destigmatize infertility in our society and encourage early intervention.
Expanded Support Systems: Creating more physical and digital safe spaces for couples to receive mental and emotional health resources.
Financial Aid & Grants: We are working toward establishing a dedicated fund to provide financial assistance to couples who face the high costs of fertility treatments, ensuring that the dream of a family is accessible to all.
